Intellectual Property Lawyer in El Salvador, Master of Legal Matters for International Business in INCAE in coordination with the University of Georgetown Law Center, he has represented El Salvador in many congresses and conventions on intellectual property, including negotiations in this area in Trade Free Agreements subscribed by El Salvador, he has attended seminars sponsored by OMPI-INPI, OMC, European Patent Office (EPO), Spanish Trademarks and Patents Office (STPO) and other worldwide organizations related to intellectual property. His large working experience includes, among other posts, General Secretariat of the National Registry Center (GSNRC), Industrial Property Registrar, Office of Commerce and Intellectual Property (CNR), Coordinator of the Department of International Affairs (CNR), Projects Coordinator and Assistant Chief of the Copyright Office (EL SALVADOR).
Mr. José Mauricio Ramírez is an author of plenty of publications and didactic material about intellectual property which include a Compilation of 13 Volumes on Intellectual Property Rights and Multilateral Commercial Negotiations, registered under Nº 861 of 1999 in the Copyrights Office of El Salvador.
He has been invited by many public and private institutions as lecturer on intellectual property covering the following topics: infringement to its laws, piracy and protection to the intellectual property. Among the institutions, are: District Attorney’s Office of El Salvador, National Civil Police, General Office of Customs Duties, Administration Office of Agreements from the Ministry of Economy, Superior School of Economy and Business, University Dr. José Matías Delgado, and Central American University José Simeón Cañas. |
